1.1.3 Paper Loading/Feed Mechanism
This product employs the front paper loading (two cassettes) and the rear paper loading mechanism. This also supports automatic duplex printing. The lower path that is independent to the paper conveyance path for printing has been added as the paper turn-over path for duplex printing.*1
Each mechanisms are driven by the ASF Motor, RASF Motor, PF Motor, and EJ2 Motor (ET-16650/ET-16680/ST-C8000/ST-C8090/L15160/L15180 Series/ET-16150/L11160 Series only)
Also, the throughput for continuous printing and duplex printing is dramatically improved compared to conventional models by mounting “Prepaper Loading” that loads the next page while printing and “2-sheet Loading Control” that operates simultaneously efficiently printing and drying with the lower path by printing pages 2 and 4 after printing pages 1 and 3 when
continually implementing duplex printing.
This time, the Auto Open/Close Mechanism for the Stacker has newly been installed. This functions automatically to pull out the Stacker to correspond to the size of the paper being printed. The Auto Open/Close Mechanism for the Stacker operates using the drive force of the STK Motor.
